Colonial's Andres Arroyo runs sub-15-minute race to win at the Little Everglades Pre-State Tournament Invitational.

Colonial junior Andres Arroyo, the Central Florida leader in the boys cross country honor roll, became the first runner from the area to run a sub-15-minute time this season with a 14:59.18 to win the boys elite race at Saturday's Little Everglades Pre-State Invitational.

Arroyo, running in the Elite race, won the race by finishing just over 3 second ahead of Elliot Clemente of Miami Belen Jesuit, who finished in 15:02.73. Winter Park's Billy Anguish, a senior finished seventh at 15:30.48. Celebration's Quincy O'Connor was 11th at 15:40.71 and Mitchell Moore of Olympia finished 13th in 15:43.06.
