Another race led to yet another victory for the Estero High girls cross country team, which took the Little Everglades Pre-State Invitational by storm.

The Wildcats placed first in the girls elite race with 95 points, easily beating runner-up Tallahassee-Chiles (136). Estero was led by Kacy Smith’s third-place finish in 17:47. Bethany Jenkins (10th, 18:19), Katy Solis (17th, 18:42), and Maria Frank (35th, 19:14) also scored for the Wildcats.

Gulf Coast finished in 14th place, led by Caroline Barlow (19th, 18:46), while Naples High took 23rd as Hannah Klopf finished 75th with a time of 19:57.
